    I purchased the reel because I already had the Trio-40 and was very satisfied with it. Since I needed a reel with a high speed retrieve for a trip to Florida in May, the Trio-40s seemed to be a perfect fit. I used it for Spanish mackeral fishing with a Kastmaster 3/8 oz spoon and it was a gem the mackeral hit the spoon and I didn''t get wrist ache from speed reeling it with a slower retrieve ratio reel. The Trio-40S is another fine reel from Okuma.

    Awesome reel! Smooth as silk. Lost the screw that holds the rubber handle on it though because I didn''t make sure it was tight after unpacking it but Okuma replaced it very fast! The gun source will be getting more business from me! Saved over $30 from them over my local shop!
